Sometimes the fun of a card is in the pretty paper…and sometimes it’s in the surprise! This Flip Flap Card has both. You know I love a fun fold, but why settle for just ONE when you can put two together?! This card combines a book fold with a z-fold, and I love how all those folds work together to create a card that looks extra special standing up for display. And then there’s that paper! The Alpine Winter Designer Series Paper does so much of the work for me. I chose the gorgeous snowy mountain scene for the large front panel and paired it with the soft plaid pattern on the z-fold portion.

Who says gift tags have to be ordinary? For Project #2 in my short but sweet Christmas in July series, I created a shaped stocking tag that's just as fun as the gift it will decorate! Using the Stitched Stockings Bundle, I turned the stocking die into an opening tag by placing it just over the folded edge of a 4-1/4" x 11" piece of Real Red cardstock before die cutting. Sometimes it's fun to step outside the traditional rectangle and create a card that's a celebration before it's even opened! This banner-shaped birthday card does exactly that, and it's surprisingly easy to make with the Party Dies Bundle, which includes both the Party Banners Dies and Party Alphabet Dies.
