World Card-Making Day - 8 cards from a Double Wonder

World Card-Making Day was Saturday, October 3, and we celebrated with a special episode of Stamp Together Saturday! What better way to celebrate than making EIGHT cards together?!

For this project, I used a Double Wonder format, which is a fabulous way to get lots of cards from just a little Designer Series Paper! We started with two identical 12" x 12" sheets, cut them into specific pieces, and used both coordinating sides to create eight cards. I LOVE getting that much mileage out of my pretty paper!

I chose Stampin' Up!®'s Whispering Woods Designer Series Paper, which is one of our special give-back products. The beautiful trees, woodland animals, and shades of green and blue were perfect for these cards! I paired the paper with coordinating cardstock and used circles for my Designer Series Paper images and stamped sentiments. Aren't those woodland critters fun?

The best part? Although all eight cards use the same layout, changing the paper patterns and images gives each one its own personality!

For my cards I used two stamp sets for my sentiments. The little "hello" comes from the Poetic Petals stamp set.

The other two sentiments come from the Birthday Shoutout stamp set, which will be released in November with Stampin' Up!®'s new Online Exclusives release.

I used a cutting template created by Call Me Crafty Al. A big thank-you to her for sharing this wonderful idea! I've included the link to her Double Wonder template below so you can give it a try, too.

You'll also find my supply list and cutting measurements so you can recreate these cards with whatever Designer Series Paper you have on hand. Just choose two coordinating patterns, grab some cardstock, and start cutting!

If you want to make just one card just like mine, check out this cutting guide:

Eight cards, one fun layout, and lots of pretty paper. Now THAT'S my kind of stamping!

Happy Stampin'!
