Double the Fun: Book Fold Meets Z-Fold!

You know I love a fun fold, but why settle for just ONE when you can put two together?! This card combines a book fold with a z-fold, and I love how all those folds work together to create a card that looks extra special standing up for display.

And then there’s that paper! The Alpine Winter Designer Series Paper does so much of the work for me. I chose the gorgeous snowy mountain scene for the large front panel and paired it with the soft plaid pattern on the z-fold portion. I love the contrast between the two patterns—and those beautiful blues and neutrals give the whole card such a cozy winter feel.

Of course, I couldn’t stop there! I pulled out the Dreamy Snowflakes Bundle for the finishing touches. This bundle includes the Dreamy Snowflakes stamp set along with a Hybrid Embossing Folder, and those Hybrid folders are just plain FUN. You can emboss beautiful snowflakes AND cut some of them out at the same time! How cool is that? Next time I'll have to actually use the hybrid folder and not just the stamps and dies from this bundle. 😉

And don’t forget the inside! The z-fold opens to reveal plenty of room for a handwritten message, with a few stamped snowflakes to carry the theme all the way through.

Between the snowy scenery, cozy mittens, plaid paper and all those fabulous folds, this one just feels like winter to me. And a book fold/z-fold combination? Yep. I’ll definitely be making this fold again! ❄️💙
