The 12 Projects of Christmas 2026: Project #1

It's time!!! One of my favorite traditions is back — The 12 Projects of Christmas! Each year, I share twelve different Christmas projects, and I'm so excited to kick off the 2026 series with this beautiful Double Column Fun Fold Card!

The fun part of this card is the construction. Two columns support the front panel, creating a dimensional pop-out with a window that gives you a peek at the Designer Series Paper behind it. And that sweet little village nestled in the snowy hills? SO stinkin' cute!

A Little Tip: When cutting the arch from the front panel, adhere the Designer Series Paper to the Crumb Cake cardstock pop-out piece. THEN cut the 4th smallest arch from the Everyday Arches Dies. It will easily cut through both at the same time. Secondly, for the frame around that arch, use both the fourth and fifth smallest arch at the same time, nested with each other. This will give you the frame that can then be adhered around the opening of the pop-out.

I used the Neutral Noel Designer Series Paper on both the card base and the front pop-out panel. The decorative window adds another layer of interest, while the gold accents and Season's Greetings banner finish everything off beautifully.

Despite its fancy appearance, this card starts with just a few pieces of cardstock and some scoring. There are quite a few score lines, but don't let that scare you!

For the back of the card, I added the Basic White panel and stamped a row of little houses in Crumb Cake ink in the lower right corner. Just a little something special to carry the design through to the back!

I'll walk you through the construction in my video so you can see exactly how those columns come together!

What do you think? Isn't this a fun way to start another year of Christmas creativity? I can't wait to share the other eleven projects with you! Please use the product list below to head to each product in my Stampin' Up!® online store. I'm doing a special giveaway from October 16-31, 2026! I am celebrating the birth of my first grandson by giving a mystery box of stamping goodies to the first 20 people who place a $75+ order. WOW!

Happy Stamping!

Amy
