The 12 Projects of Christmas 2026: Project #2

We're back for Project #2 of my 12 Projects of Christmas 2026, and oh, my goodness! This one is just too stinkin' cute! 🎄

Today we're turning a simple 6" × 6" piece of Stampin' Up!® Designer Series Paper into an adorable little gift box! No complicated cutting measurements, no fancy tools for the box itself, and no adhesive needed to create the basic shape. Just some folding magic!

We start by folding our paper in half in both directions, then diagonally in both directions. Easy peasy, right? Well, there's one final fold that might make you scratch your head a little. 😂 But don't worry! I'll walk you through it in the video, and I've included a folding map below to help you see exactly where those folds go.

Once our little box is assembled, it's time for the fun part—decorating! I added a tag using some coordinating Designer Series Paper and stamped the TO: and FROM: with the Stitched Stocking stamp set and Real Red ink. A sweet little mug embellishment and a cheerful red ribbon bow finish it off!

Completely confused? Let's un-confuse you with the video tutorial! Watch here:

Now, what do you put inside? I tucked a small bath bomb into mine, but wouldn't a few chocolates be fun, too? These would make darling little gifts for coworkers, teachers, neighbors, or anyone who deserves a little Christmas surprise!

And here's another idea: Turn it into a Christmas ornament! Just hang it on your tree using the ribbon. How cute would several of these be tucked among the branches?

Be sure to watch my video tutorial so you can see how the folds come together. Once you've made one, I have a feeling you'll want to make a whole bunch!

That's two Christmas projects down and ten more to go! I can't wait to show you what's next!

Happy creating!

Amy
