The 12 Projects of Christmas 2025: Project #2

One Sheet Wonders. They're fantastic for several things:

  • Using up sheets of Designer Series Paper :)

  • Great for any type of paper crafter, from the novice to the seasoned

  • You can put a bunch together in a flash!

When I was planning these 12 projects of Christmas earlier in the Fall, it was an easy decision to include a One Sheet Wonder because of all of the gorgeous Designer Series Paper currently in Stampin' Up!®'s online store and in our catalogs. I chose to use the Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper for this project - or actually THESE projectS - because of the beautiful, rich, traditional Christmas colors and, of course, the gold foil accents. Beautiful, isn't it?

Out of all the beautiful papers in this pack, it's this one I chose for my One Sheet Wonder:

Truth be told, I chose this one out of all the others for a couple of reasons. One is that this piece of Designer Series Paper has the rich, deep Secret Sea color as a background to make the bold reds and greens pop. Another reason is because the two sides coordinate, which is helpful for this One Sheet Wonder, as I flip the paper over every once and a while to share the fun plaid on the other side.

After cutting apart the Designer Series Paper, I gathered a few other supplies before making the cards:

  • 6 card bases, 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored in half at 4 1/4"

  • 6 pieces of Basic White 5 1/4" x 4" for the insides of the cards

  • 6 labels from the Traditional Labels Dies

  • Real Red Shimmery Ribbon

  • Traditional Sparkling Sequins

And they turned out beautifully!

I found my template for the cards on Chelsey Christensen's blog, and they're perfect! And I love creating with tradition holiday colors like these. Simply gorgeous.

This template gives you the measurements to cut your Designer Series Paper. You can start by cutting three strips 4" wide and then cut each strip as shown.

You can watch here as I cut the Designer Series Paper and make six beautiful cards, then find the complete list of supplies I used on the cards, along with links to each product in my online store at the bottom of this blog post:

Happy creating!
