Yippee! It's that time of year - my 12 Projects of Christmas time, and Countdown to Christmas on Hallmark Channel! :D
What I love about The 12 Projects of Christmas every year is that I'm able to showcase lots of different amazing products from our catalogs in a relatively short amount of time. And the projects are fun, too! Cards and unique 3D items are on the docket for this year's 12 Projects series of videos, and you can head to my YouTube Channel to subscribe so you don't miss a single episode.
What did the first project in 2021 bring? A gorgeous Navy and white card made with the Time of Giving bundle from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog.
As I was playing with this bundle back in August, I discovered that the negative image dies from this bundle, like the Santa and His Reindeer one shown here, fit perfectly inside of some of the Tailor Made Tags Dies on page 166 of the Annual Catalog. So when cutting out the white tag in the card above, I simply nested the Santa die right inside the tag die before running it through the Boss (Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine). The Tailor Made Tags come in two designs, with four sizes each, and each design has a hole reinforcer die, as well.
I then cut another tag out of the Ombre Specialty Paper found in the Annual Catalog on page 135. Have you ever seen that paper? It is sparkly and beautiful and comes in Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody, Poppy Parade, and the color I used here: Night of Navy.
I also used a fun ribbon idea on this card. I put a length of our gorgeous White Glittered Organdy Ribbon through the hole on the tag, tied knots in the ends, then heated it with a Heat Tool until it curled. This technique only works with synthetic fibers, which this ribbon is, of course.
And finally, notice the beautiful snowflake background on the white cardstock above. This was made by running the 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock through the Boss in the Wintry 3D Snowflake Embossing Folder twice. The folder is skinny and made to go through the Mini Boss. However, if you run it through the Boss once through one side, then move the folder to the non-embossed side of the cardstock, you can have the entire piece embossed without much effort.
Watch my video tutorial of this card, where I include tips and tricks not shared in this blog post, and see below a complete list of products used, including links to the products in my online store:

I'm looking forward to sharing 11 more projects of Christmas!! Watch for 2-3 per week leading up until Thanksgiving. And pssssst! Don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube Channel so you don't miss a thing!
Stamping blessings!
