I've said it multiple times before, and I'll say it again: I LOVE FUN FOLDS! Seriously. When in doubt about what I should make, 6 times out of 10 I decide on a fun fold cuz they are JUST SO AWESOME! Who doesn't like to be surprised when they open a card? That's what fun folds do for people - put smiles on their faces.
It's almost a given that each month I use products in my Paper Pumpkin kit to create a fun fold card. I love converting the Paper Pumpkin supplies into something my own.
The kit in June was absolutely gorgeous! Even just the pieces in the kit are pretty, aren't they? Using some of these pieces, I created an alternate card that has become super popular. I'm never quite sure why that happens, but I do know I love the alternate card, too.
So psssst...this is a fun fold card. Wanna see? Watch here:
That was then, this is now. I opened July's kit a couple of weeks ago and knew it was going to be challenging to come up with a project that would be special, too. The kit was already amazing and made some really sweet cards.
I spent probably close to an hour trying to come up with something unique and fun using these supplies, but no go. I had to sleep on it. Why is it that sleep helps us come up with good ideas? Makes no sense to me, but it worked.
Not so fancy, you say? Well, take a peek at the inside!
What a fun pop-out! I, of course, used lots of supplies from July's Paper Pumpkin kit, but I added just a few extra things to make the card come together as envisioned.
Night of Navy cardstock:
-5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
Garden Green cardstock:
-4" x 5 1/4"
Early Espresso Faux Suede Ribbon:
-5"
