Alternate Paper Pumpkin Project: March 2026 - Column Fun Fold Card

I’m so excited to share this pretty column fun fold card with you today! This design is such a fun way to step up your cardmaking, and it’s the perfect project for using those beautiful bits and pieces from the March 2026 Paper Pumpkin kit, Fluttering Garden. Those sweet hummingbirds and soft florals just make my heart happy!

For this card, I kept everything light and fresh with a card base from the kit (two pieces 3 3/4" x 4"), one of the envelopes (three pieces 1 1/4" x 4"), and Pool Party cardstock. The base is created using two pieces, which gives it that unique structure. The first piece measures 11" x 4 1/4" and is scored at 1", 2 1/2", 4", and 5 1/2". This forms the column on the left side and adds such a fun dimensional element. The second piece measures 4" x 8 1/2" and is simply scored in half at 4 1/4" to create the main card panel.

I love how the column gives you the perfect spot to feature a focal sentiment. I used a circle from the kit with the “I’m so Grateful for You” greeting and added one of those gorgeous die-cut hummingbirds for a pop of color. A few sparkly embellishments from the kit finish it off beautifully!

The front panel is kept clean and elegant with simple stamped florals along the bottom and another hummingbird in flight. When you open the card, there’s still plenty of space inside for your message—making this fold both pretty and practical.
