A Must-have for Crafters

We've had some great stamp sets for crafters in the past, but honestly I think I've only ever purchased one of them - the Tote-ally Tess set that I still have on my "retired stamp sets" shelf.

Tess is great, and she comes with some great accessories, doesn't she? Remember the Stampin' Around Wheels? Even one of those made an appearance in that stamp set.

That stamp set was available back in 2010. This time around, the Crafting with You stamp set is totally trendy, and it was another one I had to have, especially paired with the Crafting with You coordinating dies. A handful of dies in the set can be used to cut out stamps from the stamp set. Others, however, are what I call bonus dies - dies that don't cut out anything from the stamp set but shapes that coordinate.

The adorable teeny tiny little paper trimmer is my favorite! In fact, I think when I saw that used for the first time, it's what sold me the bundle.

Check back later this week to see a card made with that die. In the meantime, check out this great card I made with the bundle on Wednesday during What's Up! Stampers.

Simple is good, and this one is definitely that. I wanted to showcase the new 2023-2025 In Colors, and using the In Color Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack helped make the perfect background. I cut the heart-filled DSP in Copper Clay, Pebbled Path, Moody Mauve, and Boho Blue using the Countryside Corners Dies and added those to a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Pebbled Path card base.

The sentiment from the Crafting with You stamp set is stamped on the stitched circle that comes from the inside of the embroidery hoop die. I stamped it in Pebbled Path ink.

Check out that Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine stamp. Ack! Sooooo cute! I stamped it in Moody Mauve ink and cut it out using the coordinating die. How fun is it to cut out a mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine using the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine? Giggle. 😆

I jazzed up the inside of the card with a simple 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Basic White cardstock and a 5 1/4" x 3/4" piece of the Moody Mauve DSP. It comes in the same package as the heart DSP on the front of the card. I finished up the inside with more stamps from the set. I just love that little heart!

If you haven't decided yet that this is a must-have bundle for you as a crafter, I'll do my best to convince you with a few more samples in a blog post later this week.

Happy stamping!

Amy
