That is a mouthful, isn't it? Z-fold Diamond Pop-Up Card. Although a mouthful, every syllable is important. The card I'm sharing today is indeed a z-fold card (folded in half, then the front folded back on itself). It's also a card with three diamonds on it, so that's apt. When you open the card the largest diamond pops off the card. So there ya go - a z-fold diamond pop-up card.
I can't stand how adorable this is, especially with the camper. I can tell already that Sale-a-bration is going to be way too short! In just a month - or sooner - those dies will retire, and we will move on to other adorable things.
For this card, I cut the following paper:
Soft Suede cardstock:
-5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4"
Basic White cardstock:
-Two pieces 1 3/4" x 1 3/4"
-2 3/4" x 2 3/4"
-4" x 5 1/4" (for the back of the card)
-Scraps for dog and camper windows
Evening Evergreen cardstock:
-Two pieces 2" x 2", cut in half diagonally for the triangle corners
-Two pieces 1 7/8" x 1 7/8"
-3" x 3"
Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper:
-Two pieces 1 7/8" x 5 1/4"

What prompted me to make this sweet card? Well, honestly, Paper Pumpkin did! When I got my July 2022 Paper Pumpkin kit and opened it to check out the supplies, this is the fun fold card design I wanted to make as my alternate project. I used supplies from the kit, plus a few other supplies, to create this z-fold diamond pop-up card:
You can watch me make this card on my YouTube Channel to see what supplies I used to make it, or you can even watch right here:
After making one, I had to try one with the camper...and then another with the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper. I don't have the suite, but fussy cutting the Designer Series Paper works beautifully. And the card turned out great, don't you think? I particularly love the Handmade Tag Punch I added down the center instead of straight diamonds.
The supplies I used are shown below, and again, you can click on the desired item, and it will take you to my online store.
I hope you've enjoyed this super cool fun fold card and it inspires you to make some z-fold diamond pop-up cards for yourself!
Happy Stamping!
Amy
