Oh, the weather outside is frightful! Well, maybe not yet, but it's coming eventually here in southern Minnesota...and Project #3 of this year's 12 Projects of Christmas is preparing us for this year's winter weather. We've got snowflakes. We've got glitz. We've got glimmer. And we've got a project you're going to want to make!

Was I right? This is gorgeous. What makes the glimmer so...glimmery? It's the Peaceful Garden 12" x 12" Glimmer Paper. The colors listed on the package and in the catalog are "blue, soft green, and dark gray, but in my humble opinion, the Stampin' Up! colors with which the papers coordinate are Blueberry Bushel, Cloud Cover, and Secret Sea.

The "soft green" was my favorite with the Cloud Cover cardstock I used for the card base, and I think it turned out well.
Not to be outdone, I wanted to jazz up the inside of the card, as well. After just cutting a piece of Basic White that is 4" x 5 1/4" and cutting the corner snowflakes out, It already made the card worth opening. But put some more of the "soft green" Glimmer Paper behind the snowflake openings, and the game changing has begun!

Note that the inside sentiment comes from the Traditional Labels stamp set from the September-December 2025 Mini Catalog.I love this stamp set because it's what I call a "phrase builder." It can make many many phrases from all of the many words.
You can get my free tutorial for this project by clicking the box above, and you can watch as I make the card by clicking the video below.
See the bottom of this blog post for a complete list of supplies I used to create this card, as well as links to each product in my online store.
With three of the 12 projects released now, which do you like best so far? Honestly, I hope you like them all! They've been so much fun to make. ☺️
Happy creating!
Amy
