The 12 Projects of Christmas 2023: Project #1 Slim-line Card

Welcome to The 12 Projects of Christmas 2023! The last couple of years I've coordinated the launch of The 12 Projects with the first day of Hallmark's Countdown to Christmas, and today's the day! You have 12 amazing Christmas projects coming your way, and blog posts will be coordinated with the YouTube video tutorial launches of these projects. You will see one or two projects per week shared typically on Tuesdays, Fridays, and /or Sundays. When you watch on YouTube, I'd like to invite you to subscribe to my channel so you're notified when the video launches.

The first project is a simple slim-line card and showcases some of the products in the O Holy Night Suite Collection from the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog.

I used the products below from the Suite Collection, which is a mega suite, which is what I call a suite with two bundles. I'll be featuring other products from the suite in a later project, and you're not going to want to miss that one.

The slim-line card for Project #1 measures 3 1/2" x 8 1/2" when folded and fits in either a #9 or a #10 envelope, which makes it an easy size to send. And isn't it stunning? The dies and Designer Series Paper really make this card gorgeous and incredibly simple. You can see the supplies I used to create the card at the bottom of this blog post (along with links to my online store), but below are the paper measurements for easy duplication.

Night of Navy carstock:

-7" x 8 1/2", scored in half at 3 1/2"

-Nativity from the Night Divine Dies, cut off and discard the wise man, cut off the shepherd for the inside

Basic White cardstock:

-3 1/4" x 8 1/4" (inside)

-sheep from the Night Divine Dies

-middle sized circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies

O Holy Night Designer Series Paper:

-3 1/4" x 8 1/4"

-Manger from the Night Divine Dies

-3 1/4" x 3/4" (inside)

I referred to the inside of the card in the measurements above, and just check out how sweet and easy the inside can be decorated.

I'd love for you to watch as I make this card on YouTube, and leave a comment, if you'd be so kind. 😊

Happy Christmas projects!

Amy
