The 12 Projects of Christmas 2020: Project #6

Tonight we had a much needed social night with my brother and sister-in-law. I know you all understand what I'm talking about. With Covid in play, social time is at a minimum, and we are social beings who long for it. We've all adjusted out of necessity, but I think we can agree that the old normal was way better than the new one. We miss people. We miss gathering together to eat, drink, and be merry. And stamp. We miss stamping together, too. I miss stamping in person with you, but incredibly grateful for Facebook Live and Zoom, where we have been gathering these last 9 months. Thank God for technology!

At any rate, after a beautiful evening with family, it's now after midnight. It's after my Friday midnight blogging deadline, and I'm not even sorry. Not that I don't like to be on time, but what happened tonight was much-needed. I know you understand.

People and relationships are such a vital part of our lives. At Christmas time that's even more evident, as we look for the right gifts for our family and friends and prepare to spend time with them. Even though this Christmas will seem different in many ways, I suspect we will still be buying gifts and making sure our loved ones know we love them. And I think this year, more than ever, a hand-made gift will be even more appreciated. So here's an idea for you...dress up some of our Mini Coffee Cups and add them to a gift basket, a coffee cup carrier from our August - December Mini Catalog, or give them individually. Fill them with coffee, cider, candy, or be creative! Whatever you decide, these are sure to be a big hit. Here's a simple example of how you can dress up a Mini Coffee Cup using our Heartwarming Hugs Suite from the Mini Catalog.

What I love about this project is that everything is designed to go together. The dies that cut out the sleeve, when put together, fits perfectly onto the mini cups we carry in the Heartwarming Hugs Suite. The dies work perfectly with the stamps. The Designer Series Paper works perfectly with Mossy Meadow and Real Red. The coordination that Stampin' Up!® provides for us is second to none in my book. It's just so easy to put together a project when you have an entire suite of products that are designed to work together. Here is the Heartwarming Hugs Suite. When you use order number 155106, you will receive everything in the picture below. Everything.

I have a couple of tips and tricks about using these dies as I share the video tutorial for this sweet Mini Coffee Cup. If you love what you see here, you won't want to miss it! As I allude to in the video, I don't drink coffee, and perhaps you don't, either. But I think we all know someone who does or who likes hot chocolate, or who just likes getting fun gifts. So get creative with this fantastic bundle!

You already know the order number for the entire suite, but I've created a link in the supplies listed below. I've also listed separately the items from the suite that I used in this coffee cup project. Follow those links to place your order.
