Host benefits were appealing to me almost from the start. When I was introduced to Stampin' Up!® and realized I could get FREE STUFF by having people over to my house for a party with stamping and food, I was so IN!
Host benefits have changed quite a bit over the years, but one amazing thing remains the same: the FREE STUFF! Here are the details of what you can earn for free when you host a party (virtually, in person, catalog, or even make a $150+ purchase) all on your own.
But did you also know that there are always host-only items to choose from when spending your free money? In the September-December 2023 Mini Catalog, there is one host-only stamp set you choose.
Framing Foliage is a 2-piece stamp set that is so pretty, especially when colored with Stampin' Blends. I played with each stamp, did some coloring (it's so fun!!!!), and created a couple cards I'm pretty proud of. This first one I made during What's Up! Stampers on Wednesday afternoon.
You can watch me make this card here, and below are the cutting instructions to make this beauty.
Copper Clay cardstock:
-5 1/2" x 8 1/2", use the amazing Elegant Border Dies on the left (Online Exclusives) to create the fancy bottom border
Very Vanilla cardstock:
-5 1/4" x 4" (inside)
-5" x 3" for the image, then fussy cut around it
All About Autumn Designer Series Paper:
-5 1/2" x 3 1/2"
This card is really pretty, right? But I had to mess around a little and make a few additions.
I added a popped up banner for the sentiment, a few Copper Clay In Color Dots, and some Wink of Stella to the images. Which card do you like better?
For the Christmas card, I grabbed the Very Best Trio Punch to make it fancy.
Stampin' Blends in Wild Wheat, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Shaded Spruce, Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake, and Pumpkin Pie really makes the image pop. Again, I added Wink of Stella - this time to the ribbon in the image - to add a little sparkle.
Crumb Cake cardstock:
-5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
-5 1/4" x 4"
Basic White cardstock:
-3 7/8" x 3 1/2"
-2 1/4" x 1 1/4"
