Paradise Palms with Free Tutorials

Because everyone needs a trip to paradise...it's Paradise Palms to the rescue. This stamp set and coordinating dies are the perfect solution to that beachy theme need. Palm trees, sun, sand, coconuts, and perfect sentiments are just some of the reasons why I love the stamps set. But I think the watercolor look of the stamped images play just as key a role. Different combination possibilities of the stamps and dies make them both super fun to play with.

The card below uses what I would normally call the "sun" stamp as a background stamp instead. It is stamped in Pale Papaya ink on the 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Pale Papaya card base. The Brushed Metallic Adhesive-backed Dots are absolutely perfect for coconuts in those trees, too, don't you think? Find the product list for this card below it.

Notice in this next card that the ground stamp is repeatedly stamped on the white cardstock at the bottom to create the perfect sandy beach in a large area. And don't you love how the sentiment is stamped on the ever favorite Tailor Made Tags Dies?

My favorite part of this last card is the circle of colorful stripes. Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay, and Coastal Cabana cardstock make the perfect tropical backdrop for the palm tree shadow. The instructions section in the recipe below share how to make that fabulous circle.

I think my favorite die in the the Palms Dies set is the border die. That die was used to create the card on the right below. Isn't it sweet?:

Both of these cards also combine the stamp and dies with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder, which, if you'll notice, is used for both sand and sky in these cards, and I think it works well for both. You will find below that I have included free basic tutorials for these cards. Simply click on this, and have fun creating!:
