Blasting Off with the March Online Exclusives

Today I have a fun fold card to share that is truly out of this world! This project features the brand new Moon & Back stamp set, which was just released today as part of the March 2026 Online Exclusives. I just love when new products arrive — don’t you? You can see them all by clicking this pic below:

One of the products - the adorable Moon & Back stamp set - just begged to go into my cart on my first pre-order, and this card is why.

This card starts with a Thick Basic White cardstock base measuring 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". For the beautiful background layer, I used Lights of Aurora Designer Series Paper cut to 4" x 5 1/4". The soft purples and blues in this paper are absolutely perfect for a dreamy night sky look.

The mini pop-up card inside is created with another piece of Thick Basic White cardstock measuring 3" x 8 1/2". Score it at 4 1/4" and fold in half to form the small card base. On the front, adhere a piece of Lights of Aurora Designer Series Paper measuring 2 7/8" x 4 1/8", then cut a circle through both layers using the 2 3/8" Circle punch.

Now for the fun part — the pop-up mechanism! Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 2" x 3". Score along the 3" side at 3/4", 1 1/2", and 2 1/4". Fold on all score lines to create a little “box” shape, then adhere the two end sections to the inside of the mini card. This simple mechanism allows the stamped circle image to pop forward when the card is opened.

I stamped the main image from the Moon & Back stamp set and die cut it using coordinating circle dies. The sweet astronaut adds just the right touch of whimsy. A few embellishments give it a little sparkle — because every night sky needs stars!

When the card is closed, it lays flat for mailing. When opened, the circle pops up for a fun surprise element. Inside, I kept it simple with a “Happy Birthday” greeting and a few stamped stars and planets.
