One for a Very Special Person

Have you ever felt like someone needs to be worthy to receive a special card on which you spent tons of time and creativity? That's kind of how I feel about this one I made during What's Up! Stampers? on Wednesday on Facebook Live.

This card features a lot of love, as well as the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog.

The combinations of dies and embossing folder are many and all beautiful!

Run the Embossing Folder through with the die in place so it cuts and embosses at the same time:

For this one, cut first, then emboss separately:

This card has a lot of features to notice...

  • Shimmery White cardstock for card base, greenery layer, and tag.

  • The greenery layer features that beautiful Merriest Frames Folder, used with the most detailed die shown directly above.

  • Using ink from ink pads squeezed onto the ink pad lid, along with a Water Painter, I watercolored the greenery. I also highlighted veins in some of the leaves using more concentrated ink. So pretty!!! I wish the shimmer from the Shimmery White cardstock would show on camera. It's completely stunning.

  • There's a vellum layer behind the tag, which is cut from the Dies, stitching and all.

  • The tag is cut using the Essential Tags Punch, and the hole for the ribbon is cut using the Label Me Fancy Punch.

  • The little poinsettias are cut from the dies with gold Festive Pearls added to the centers.

Thank you for coming to check out this beautiful card! Someone special will definitely receive this one. :)

You can find all the products I used on this card and links to my online store below.

Happy creating!
