Christmas in July 2025: Project #1

ree

Yep, I know...it's nearly the end of July. Why bother? Well, because I LOVE CHRISTMAS PROJECTS, and sharing Christmas projects in July just makes sense, even though life has gotten in the way a little bit this summer.

Plan to see three Christmas in July posts from me in 2025, the first of which is a simple Christmas card that makes you realize you need the Jar of Joy stamp set (and, of course, the coordinating punch).

The Jar of Joy stamp set is from our July 1, 2025 Online Exclusives release. It's sold on its own, but the coordinating Sweet Jar Builder Punch can be purchased on the same order! If you're into coordination and savings (because, frankly, who isn't), you can purchase the Sweet Jar Bundle (the Sweet Jar stamp set and Builder Punch) at 10% off, then add the Jar of Joy stamp set to the order, as well. There are so many options for that jar when you have both stamp sets! See the options for purchase below, and head to bottom of this blog post for direct links to each product.

The card I made for Project #1 of Christmas in July 2025 is not very colorful, but neither are gingerbread cookies. It's still adorable and is tasty to the [art] palette.

The Designer Series Paper is perfect for this card, and it comes from the Neutrals 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper Pack. It's one of the Crumb Cake pieces from the pack. The Everyday Arches Dies are the perfect backdrop for the jar of gingerbread cookies, and the Crumb Cake ink added to the white arch using a Blending Brush sets the perfect backdrop. I love that the gingerbread cookies are a two-step stamping process. You can probably see the results: most of the image is stamped in Crumb Cake ink, and the highlighting stamp was stamped in Early Espresso ink.
