Boho Indigo Fun Fold

Recently I finished preparing projects for my Boho Indigo Take-home class. It was so much fun! The Boho Indigo Product Medley makes product coordination completely a no-brainer. I mean, stamps, dies, Designer Series Papers, and accessories that all coordinate, all in one beautiful Product Medley, makes project prep a snap! Something I promised in the class were two fun fold cards using those Boho Indigo products, so when I was preparing the projects, I really wanted to get creative. So I started with this stuff:

And I ended with this:

The Night of Navy card stock that makes up the top of the card is a quarter sheet of card stock: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". The back is the same. The Designer Series Paper is cut from the Boho Indigo Product Medley and measures 4" x 5 1/4". The Misty Moonlight strip across the middle is 11/4" x 4 1/4". In the Product Medley are lots of little tags and labels with gold accents. I used two identical tags and adhered them together, threading the navy ribbon from the Medley through the holes in the tag. The final touch is the focal point vase with leaves that I stamped in Night of Navy ink on ovals from the Layering Ovals dies in the Annual Catalog. This is a great card, but wait...there's more! When you look at the card, it looks ordinary. But when you go to open it up, you soon realize it is definitely NOT so ordinary.

The magic happens with a piece of Thick Vanilla card stock that is 3 3/4" x 11", scored 1" from one end and 5" from the other end. The short 1" end gets attached to the front of the card, and the other end gets attached to the back of the card. It makes for a really interesting card, don't you think? I'll be sharing a video tutorial on how to make this card the week of July 19. Check back then to see exactly how this one gets put together!

THIS is the type of card we make in my Something Out of the Ordinary class, held virtually each month, the third Thursday. You can find out more information about this and all my classes on my Facebook page or my Business Website.
