Another Great Stamp Together Card

Each Saturday morning over on my Facebook page, I've been creating a card with my viewers. Some choose to cut paper and play right along with me while others watch and create later. I've written about Stamp Together Saturdays before, but I feel like the special community we created Saturday mornings during Covid is special enough that it's worth mentioning again.

Each week I post Stamp Together Saturday as an event on my Facebook page. The header to the event is a list of cutting instructions for our one 10 minute card we'll make together. Then Saturday morning at 9:30am Central time, I hop on, say my good mornings, and enjoy creating the super simple card usually consisting of some Designer Series Paper, several pieces of cardstock, a sentiment, and some ink.

After we make the card, I post those same cutting instructions in the comments of the video, along with my finished card. That way if someone happens by the video, they, too, can cut their paper to recreate the card. Here are my cutting instructions for last week's card:

Using the nine 1 1/4" squares was a fun way to create an actually pretty simple card.

We started by marking the two 4" ends of the Petal Pink cardstock at 2" then connecting them with a pencil line using a ruler. I added the center squares first, then, making sure their top and bottom corners stayed on that drawn line. Two squares were cut in half to make 4 triangles, which filled the pattern in nicely on top and bottom. A scalloped oval from the Double Oval Punch was the perfect addition for my sentiment. Here is the direct link to the Stamp Together Saturday video for this card. You do NOT have to be a member of Facebook in able to watch. All kinds of Designer Series Paper would be great and change the look of this great card. So many options! What will you try?

Join me this week, as we make another great - and simple - card! Here are the cutting instructions. Make the card with me or watch and make it later! Even if you can't make it live, you'll always find the videos on my Facebook page. That page is linked at the bottom of each page here on my website.
