The Perfect Card for Stamp Together AND a FLASH SALE!

It seems as though some of the best cards we've made are cards from Stamp Together Saturday. When we get together to stamp on Saturday mornings, we keep it simple, with an occasional fun fold card thrown in for good measure. Typically we use cardstock, Designer Series Paper, a sentiment stamp, and ink. Sometimes we add ribbon, and I always encourage those watching to add an embellishment, if they think it needs it. The cards we make Saturday mornings are each a shell for you to run with, and I love it when attendees share what they've done with that shell. Sometimes just a different Designer Series Paper changes the look of the card so completely, but so perfectly.

This past Saturday, April 16, we used these cutting instructions when we sat down to cut our paper for the card:

And this is what I created using these pieces. So simple...not even a setniment on this one, but perfect as a notecard that you can easily personalize on the inside.

For this one I used:

  • Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper (January-June 2022 Mini Catalog)

  • Rich Razzleberry cardstock

  • Fresh Freesia cardstock

  • Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon

  • Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder

Then, of course, because of the simplicity of this card, I had to make some more using different Designer Series Paper from the Mini Catalog:

  • Artfully Composed Designer Series Paper

  • Evening Evergreen cardstock

  • Mint Macaron cardstock

  • Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon

  • Fern 3D Embossing Folder (New in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog)

On the previous cards, I used an embossing folder to add texture to the 4" x 5 1/4" layer. On this one I decided not to emboss that layer. I think it looks very nice regardless.

  • Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper

  • Blushing Bride cardstock

  • Highland Heather cardstock

  • White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon

This one uses just a simple addition of a Bumblebee Trinket as a little extra.

  • Heart & Home Designer Series Paper

  • Pale Papaya cardstock

  • Cinnamon Cider cardstock

  • Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon

  • Hive 3D Embossing Folder

After making these cards in a snap, there was no way I was stopping making these quick and easy cards without trying some using our gorgeous papers in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. Again, this first one has no embossing on the white layer. I left it plain so it pops even more against the dark background.

  • Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper

  • Old Olive cardstock

  • Basic White cardstock

  • Simply Elegant Trim

For this one, I couldn't help but add a flower that I cut out of Calypso Coral cardstock using the Pierced Blooms Dies.

  • Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper

  • Night of Navy cardstock

  • Bumblebee cardstock

  • Calypso Coral cardstock

  • Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder

  • Bumblebee Gingham Ribboon

Remember that the measurements for all of these papers are listed in the graphic at the top of this post.
