Project #12? How did that happen? Time flies when you're having fun, right?
For Project #12 I wanted to do something a little different and do a sneak preview of sorts for a series of upcoming classes I call One Card, Four Ways. During this class, I used the same supplies to make four different cards. Because it is a virtual class and I don't have you purchasing any product for the class, I design the cards to have just a sentiment - no other stamping. Each of the One Card, Four Ways classes uses different sizes of paper and different accessories and typically focuses on a specific Designer Series Paper. My 2022 One Card, Four Ways classes will be posted on my events pages on Facebook and my Demonstrator Business Website soon!
One Card, Four Ways for the 12 Projects of Christmas features the exclusive Ever Eden Designer Series Paper that is available in the Eden's Garden Collection of products. This gorgeous paper is only available while supplies last, which means you should get your hands on this DSP ASAP! (my teenage daughter hates it when I use acronyms. Teehee!). This gorgeous paper contains only a few colors: Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen, Basic White, and Gold Foil.
The color scheme in this Designer Series Paper drove the choices for the rest of the projects. Here are the supplies I used for these cards...
...along with the sizes of paper I used for each of the four cards:
Soft Succulent cardstock:
-4 1/4" x 11" - three cards scored at 5 1/2", one card scored 2" from one end and 3 1/2" from the other end.
Evening Evergreen cardstock:
-3 1/4" x 3 1/4", embossed with the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder
Basic White cardstock:
-1" x 4 1/4"
Three different pieces of the Designer Series Paper:
-1 1/2" x 1 1/2"
For Project #12, here are the four different cards I made with these supplies.
For this card, I adhered the three Designer Series Paper squares to the larger Evening Evergreen square, then cut out the section of the Evening Evergreen square that was not covered by the DSP.
The final card is a gatefold card, with the 2" section at the bottom of the card and the 3 1/2" section at the top. The Evening Evergreen piece overlaps the opening to create a unique fold and feature. The Gold Foil holly leaves are cut using the Christmas Trimmings Dies from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. Thank you for watching my 12 Projects series! I look forward to sharing more fun projects in the very near future!
Stamping blessings!
