I recall being at a Stampin' Up!® convention many many years ago when the announcement was made that Stampin' Up! was partnering with Sizzex and would have the Big Shot available to purchase in our catalog. What a day! There was much excitement and even many screams and cheers of joy over this announcement. We were all ready for a machine that would enhance our paper crafting experience. For years, the Big Shot was a staple for most projects I created. Although the dies and things we offered as part of the Big Shot experience has changed a lot over the years, the dependence on that machine never did. Fast forward to a year and a half ago, when Stampin' Up! announced that the partnership was ending. There would be no Big Shot and no die cutting or embossing machine in our catalog for the time being. It was a tricky time, but with so many customers having already purchased the Big Shot, it didn't seem to seriously effect business. However, more and more now, it's gotten tricky to explain to new and returning customers that we have the dies and embossing folders in our catalog, but no machine in which to use them - yet.
I'm happy to announce that THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER!
Beginning September 1, the Stampin' Emboss & Die Cut Machine that can be found in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog will be available to customers for purchase. How exciting! I look forward to that day when you'll be able to add it to your online order or the order I place for you. It's a beautiful machine that I cannot wait to get my hands on, and I have a feeling you feel the same way. Just LOOK at it!
You'll notice in the pictures and in the catalog that there will be two machines available: the regular and the Mini. Note that on September 1, the regular sized machine will be available for purchase but the Mini is not ready just yet. With that in mind, here are just a few things to know about the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine:
Wide 6" platform for all your crafting needs.
Weighs approximately 8.1 pounds. Platform folds to make transporting easy and to take up less space when storing.
Works with all Stampin’ Cut & Emboss dies and embossing folders.
Simple to make a sandwich. Includes plates that are labeled with a number and are color coded for easy use.
All the plates you need to get started are included: 1 Base Plate (Plate 1), 1 Die Plate (Plate 2), 2 Cutting Plates (Plate 3), and 1 Specialty Plate (Plate 4).
Great for seasoned crafters who want a solution for all their die cutting and embossing needs.
