Squee, Squee, Double Z!

Giggle. I always try to make my post titles catchy, but even I'm rolling my eyes with how sappy this one is. :D

The truth is, I do love Double Z-fold cards. They're fun and SUPER easy, and this one is a lot of fun. It uses the Brewed for You Bundle, but with Double Z-fold cards, the possibilities are endless! But I digress...

The Brewed for You Bundle is perfect for guy cards.

And as I said, it makes a great Z-fold card.

Since Double Z-fold cards are easier than they look, let me walk you through it. I started with a piece of Basic Black cardstock measuring 4 1/4" x 11" and a piece of Crushed Curry cardstock measuring 2 1/2" x 11". I scored both of these pieces at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2" and folded them each into a "Z" as shown below.

But to assemble the double Z, I put the long section of the Crushed Curry Z to the left, like this:

I added some layers to the black Z-fold piece.

Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper:

-Two pieces 2 3/4" x 4"

Basic White cardstock:

-5 1/4" x 4"

I adhere the short Crushed Curry part of the Z to the right inside of the black card base, and after adding adhesive to just half of the longer section of the Crushed Curry Z-fold, I adhered that to the short section of the Basic Black Z-fold. Adding beer glasses that were stamped and cut out using the Brewed for You bundle finished it off perfectly, especially with the sentiment "Another Round for your Birthday." Every other glass is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Did you notice I also added some gold Metallic Dots to the card? Those are part of the Brushed Metallic Adhesive-backed Dots pack, which happen to be part of this week's Weekly Deals, which you can find here.

So are you convinced that the Double Z-fold card is easy? And again, imagine all the things you do with a card like this. Beer glasses are just the beginning!
