Retiring Top 10: Stamp Sets

It's no secret that I love almost every Stampin' Up!® product I own. This makes doing what I do super easy. But it makes choosing 10 favorites from the retiring list not so easy. I've used these top 10 quite a bit in the past, but maybe not so much recently. When there are so many fun, new things to use, sometimes even our favorites get left behind.

So without further ado, let's get on with it! See pictures of each at the bottom of this post, along with links to my online store.

149298 Good Morning Magnolia, $36

Two years ago, when this stamp set was released, it was all the rage. It had Designer Series Paper that coordinated (some can still be found in the Clearance Rack in my online store - link below), as well as Memories & More products. Absolutely beautiful projects have been made with this stamp set, and I'll be sad to see it go.

152667 So Much Love, $16 on SALE!

Last year, So Much Love was part of a new demonstrator special, and was given free to those who signed up as demonstrators. I did not purchase it at the time, but later decided it was too beautiful to pass up. When I began planning my Stampin' Blends Buy & Try class, it was the perfect stamp to use for that class and to showcase the beautiful Stampin' Blends coloring technique. I've used it multiple times since that class, and I'd say it's my favorite line-art flowers to color.

151691 So Sentimental, $22

This word stamp set is absolutely PERFECT with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I guess that's why it's bundled with those dies in the current catalog. I love the dies and am thrilled they are sticking around, but I'll definitely miss these words!

148217 Rooted in Nature, $42

Worth every penny, Rooted in Nature is the perfect stamp set when you need a quick "guy" card. Multiple tree and leaf images make it very versatile, and I feel like not having it as a go-to, need something generic stamp set will be a big bummer. When you're checking out this stamp set, don't forget the absolutely amazing dies that coordinate!

152633 Many Mates, $23

This sentiment stamp set is perfect for so many occasions. I think my favorite part about it is that it's got both the outside-of-the-card sentiments AND the message for inside the card. This makes it a one-shot grab and go stamp set that I'm really going to miss.

152530 Fancy Phrases, $22

This stamp set is completely underrated, and I didn't use it nearly enough. When you go to check it out below, I want you to notice not only the gorgeous florals in this stamp set, but also the absolutely amazing sentiments. "When I count my blessings...I count you twice!", and more. And the fonts in the sentiments steal the show. Gorgeous!

150469, Toile Christmas, $24

Of course you'll want the dies that match, but it's a small price to pay for the most amazing Christmas cardinal we have ever had. I absolutely have loved coloring this cardinal - love the banner sentiments, too. When Christmas 2021 rolls around, I'll be sad to not have this stamp set as an option for my show and tell projects.

152512 Ridiculously Awesome, $22

Every once in awhile a stamp set comes along that just strikes you when you see it. That's what happened when I turned to page 90 for the first time when I got the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog last year. I absolutely adore the sayings. And to make it even better, the font is in Sean Douglass's handwriting. Sean is the husband of Stampin' Up!® CEO, Sara Douglass. How cool is that?

154076 So Much Happy Bundle, $45.75

For this one, I couldn't help but add the dies in with the stamp set. It's difficult to separate the two. So for this one, don't forget the dies! They so perfectly go together, that one without the other would be dull - especially if you know the dies exist. Which now, you do. I love the variety of occasions for which this bundle can be used, and the dies are just the coolest. One year in the catalog was definitely not enough time. Gone too soon!

148223 Healing Hugs, $21

My very favorite retiring stamp set that is retiring will not leave my studio. At least for now. This DistINKtive stamp set carries amazing detail that makes me stop to admire it every time I stamp it. I can't help it! It's stunning! I also thing one of the draws to this stamp set for me are the variety of get well sentiments. Over the years I've found that good Get Well stamp sets are hard to find, and this one has served its purpose well. My mom, especially, seems to need a lot of get well cards, and this one will definitely be used over and over again as time goes on. Until, of course, Stampin' Up! comes up with the perfect replacement. Which they will.

I hope you're enjoyed my countdown, and I hope I've brought one or more stamp sets to your attention that you hadn't noticed before. Remember to check them all out below!

Stampin' blessings!

Amy
