It happens every year. Beloved products disappear from the Stampin' Up!® catalog, and other, equally amazing products take their place. New stamps, new Designer Series Paper, new In Colors, and truth be told...new accessories, which is where I begin when I get the catalog to see in person.
As a demonstrator, I'm one of the fortunate ones to be able to see that catalog online before it shows in print at anyone's doorstep. Although I love to turn the pages and experience the catalog with all my senses (ok - I actually don't TASTE the catalog. Ew.), seeing it for the first time online is almost as satisfying. What stays? What goes? My body has been tense just waiting for this moment!
For customers, the most exciting part of today is that the Last Chance list is revealed. So without further ado, Here it is:
You will see that there are items on the Last Chance list that are discounted. My eyes gravitate to those items more quickly than others, and one of the reasons is because I know that if there are any of those items that I want to grab, I'd better do it quickly. Discounts mean that everyone else is excited about those items, too!
One of the stamp sets retiring this year is Floral Essence, and its coordinating punch, Perennial Flower.
It was fun to create this card, that is actually quite simple! First I stamped the flower twice on Basic White cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento ink, making sure to check which way my punch would go in the paper to cut them out.
Then I used my Blending Brushes to add color in Mango Melody in the middle of the flowers and Daffodil Delight around the outsides.
After adding a little sparkle with Wink of Stella, I punched out the flowers and adhere them together, offsetting the petals.
I really like the final result!
Don't miss the last chance items I used on this card! Follow the links below to my online store.
Happy stamping,
