On Tuesday I wrote a blog post about Stampin' Up!®'s upcoming World Card-Making Day event. It's free, and it is being offered free of charge to anyone who would like to attend. You can read all about this event by heading to that blog post here.
One of the suggested bundles from Stampin' Up! for this event is a brand new one that made its appearance on September 6. It may have gotten buried in the excitement of the new September-December 2023 Mini Catalog, so I think it's worth giving some time to it here. It's a punch bundle, which to me already makes it worth taking a look. I love punch bundles because of their ease of use. And the punch in this bundle is unique, for sure.
This past week I shared on social media a couple wedding cards I made with this bundle. I made this one on Wednesday during What's Up! Stampers.
This card really couldn't be more simple, and here are the paper measurements.
Petal Pink cardstock:
-5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored in half at 4 1/4"
Basic White cardstock:
-Label
3 1/4" x 4 1/2"
Basic Gray cardstock:
-3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
For the second card I decided to make, I let the Heartfelt Hexagon punch take center stage. I punched 8 of them and embossed them with the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. I mounted those hexagons on a piece of 5 1/4" x 4" Very Vanilla cardstock before trimming the labels that hung over the edge. I then stamped and punched out one more hexagon for the focal point and sentiment on the card. Highlighting that focal point with some gold ribbon behind it really finishes off the card nicely.
**note that the Basics 3D Embossing Folders can be found in our Online Exclusive products, along with the Heartfelt Hexagon bundle. You can shop those online exclusives here: bity.ly/amyrichonlineexclusives.
I made a Reel for Instagram to share how I made the Very Vanilla card above. Although the music I added to the Reel didn't carry over when saved to my phone and now shared here, you can still see how I put it together. Enjoy!
Happy stamping!
Amy
