Easy Lattice Card Front

Let's start with the excitement brewing over in the Stampin' Up!® online store. It's time again for NEW Weekly Deals, and I LOVE EVERYTHING! You can see this week's sale items below. You can click on each picture to take you directly to that item in my online store so you can put it in your shopping cart.

Because of this great deal the Memories & More products, it has prompted me to offer a video-only class on these products!

Step one: Order the Texture Chic Memories & More Card Pack and the Texture Chic Memories & More cards.

Step two: Purchase the video tutorial starting October 1.**

Step three: Use the video and the products you purchased to create 10 cards.

**Stay tuned for all the details of how to get that video!

And when you're placing your order, don't forget the Perfect Partners products, available only through September! Wednesday on What's Up! Stampers? I used one of these bundles - Apple Harvest - to create a pretty card that features the simplest way to make a lattice ever.

The only color cardstock I used here is white, and it's just gorgeous! I used a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Thick Basic White card base. I used a layer of Basic White measuring 4" x 5 1/4", and I cut a stitched rectangle in the middle of that using the third largest from the Stitched Rectangles Dies. I put adhesive all the way around the back of the rectangle frame, then adhered 1/4" x 6" strips of Basic White cardstock across the opening of the frame in two directions. I then trimmed the strips that hung over the sides of the rectangle. Such a pretty look! You can watch me create this card here, starting at about the 4:30 mark.

I stamped the apple branch on a large scrap of Basic White cardstock, colored it with Stampin' Blends (Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, and Crumb Cake), and cut that out (along with the label) using the Apple Blossom Dies. These dies are only available in September or while supplies last. The other stamp sets that have dies for a limited time, as part of the Perfect Partners promotion, are as follows:

  • Fresh Cut Flowers (Annual Catalog)

  • This Birthday Piggy (Annual Catalog)

  • Trimming the Tree (Annual Catalog)

  • Waterfall Canyon (Annual Catalog)

  • Yeti to the Party (JD22 Mini Catalog)

Stamping blessings!
