Choosing a Favorite

Personally, I think choosing a favorite 2020-2022 In Color is like choosing a favorite of your children. It's really quite impossible. Sometimes you enjoy one child a lot because you have a special moment with them. Other times another child might rise to the top. But in the end, you love them all equally. They are each special in their own unique ways. This, in a nutshell, is how I feel about this year's new In Colors.

The 2020-2022 In Colors are:

  • Bumblebee

  • Cinnamon Cider

  • Just Jade

  • Magenta Madness

  • Misty Moonlight

Although currently Misty Moonlight seems to hold my heart, the brightness of Magenta Madness makes me happy when I see it. Bumblebee warms my heart, and Just Jade is green, which always seems to be a winner in my book. But Cinnamon Cider? I simply can't wait to make fall projects with that color!

Don't you just love how Stampin' Up!® names their colors? I'd love to be in the room sometime when they are considering their options! In Colors are around for just two years, while they are "in style." Occasionally they'll come back more permanently when there is a color refresh. When they arrive in the catalog, they have been carefully chosen based on trends in home decor, clothing, etc. I've noticed many times over the years that I can walk into a store and see the In Colors hanging on the racks. I haven't actually checked that out this year since I haven't been shopping in stores much, but I'd venture to guess it's right on. And I LOVE these colors so much!

Stampin' Up! does so many things right, but one thing I think the company is known for is coordination. In Colors are no different. There are many products you can purchase in our In Colors, thus coordinating projects beautifully using ink, paper, accessories, and ribbons that all match. It's so visually appealing. Here are the products that come in our 2020-2022 In Colors (check out the fun new grid paper you can use on your stamping surface!):

Look how pretty! I just can't...

And then sometimes you can even put these colors all together on a card, and it looks amazing! #amiright?

Thank you to the amazing Julie Dimatteo for the card idea! I just changed up the colors and added a Magenta Madness bow.

Stamp Set: Ridiculously Awesome

Magenta Madness card stock: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"

Whisper White card stock: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" and 3 3/4" x 5"

In Color card stocks: 3/4" x 5 1/2" strips

Adhere one In Color strip at an angle onto the piece of 3 3/4" x 5" white card stock, then add the other strips, as shown. Flip the piece of white card stock around so you can see the back side. Trim the excess off with a scissors, then layer onto the larger piece of white card stock. The sentiment is popped up with dimensionals. Full supply list with links to my online store below.
