At the Pond

I love that Stampin' Up!® offers host only products for those that submit a $150+ party. This sounds a little deceiving. Let me clear up how you can be a party host. There are several ways to earn host benefits:

  1. Host a party in your home, inviting friends over to stamp.

  2. Hold a book party, asking friends and family members to place an order using your host code.

  3. Place an order yourself of $150 or more.

Host benefits are free dollars to spend in the catalog. You can choose any products on which you can spend your free money, but that $150 party is your only opportunity to get those free host items. Look how much free $$ you can earn by being a host.

Currently there are several amazing host items available, and the dollar amount listed is how much of your free host money you will spend on it. These items are the available host items:

It's the frog stamp set - At the Pond - that has intrigued me the most. I finally started playing with it in conjunction with What's Up! Stampers? on Wednesday. And boy, have I decided I love this stamp set. So dang adorable!

I started by scoring the 4 1/4" x 11" Balmy Blue card base 2 3/4" from each short end. I folded those up to make a gote-fold card of sorts. I adhered pieces of 4" x 2 1/2" Basic White cardstock pieces to the closed flaps, which really sets off the rest of the card. I even used the Into the Clouds embossing folder on the bottom piece of white to give it some added interest.

I added a piece of Rain or Shine Designer Series Paper (3 1/2" x 4 3/4") to a piece of 3 3/4" x 5" Balmy Blue cardstock, then adhere the top half of it to the top flap of my card base. I jazzed up the front of the card using several other products, and I just think the frog and bug steal the show! The waves are made using a small piece of the By the Bay Designer Series Paper. For a complete list of the supplies I used, see the bottom of this blog post.

And, of course, one of the things I love most is the fun fold. Fold up the top of the card and fold down the bottom to then reveal the 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock that adorns the inside. You can here as I make the card.

As you're weighing your host options, you won't want to delay grabbing these great host products. These specific ones are only available through May 1! Contact me with your questions.

Happy stamping!

Amy
