A Simple Card in a Jif!

Every week I post a supply list on Facebook that we will use to create a quick card on Saturday morning. Many who come to watch choose to cut their paper and make their card right along with me. We've been doing these Stamp Together Saturdays for two years now, and I can honestly say that I still look forward to being together to create something pretty.

As we entered the last full week of March, I posted these cutting instructions:

Here is the card I made while live that next Saturday morning:

This layout became a personal favorite of mine in a hurry. It's simple and sweet and can be duplicated in a hurry. For this card, I used the following...

Evening Evergreen cardstock:

-5 1/2" x 8 1/2"

-Scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Dies

Crumb Cake cardstock:

-Two pieces 5 3/8" x 1 7/8"

-One of those pieces is embossed with the Stripes 3D Embossing Folder from the Stripes and Splatters 3D Embossing Folders pack in the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog

Hey Sports Fan Designer Series Paper:

-Three pieces 1 5/8" square

As I said, the layout became a personal favorite. So...why not make a stack of them? I made several cards in a jif, and I used many Last Chance items. Each retiring item I list will be marked with an "R" so they're all easy to spot.

I made this one live with my team to show them the layout and to help picture how we can use the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper (R) for a card that isn't Christmas themed. The sentiment stamp comes from the already retired and gone Sunny Sentiments (R), and I used the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder (R).

The next card with the same layout features the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (R), the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder (R), and the Stitched So Sweet Dies (R). Such a pretty card, right?

The In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (R) in this layout makes the perfect guy card. I used the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (R) for the top section of Misty Moonlight cardstock and the Tailored Tag Punch (R) for the sentiment.

Last but not least is this beauty. It's made using the You're a Peach Designer Series Paper (R), The Dots Embossing Folder of the Checks & Dots Embossing Folder pack (R), and the Tasteful Labels Dies (R).
