A Perfect Little Matchbox Card

Stamp Together Saturdays have been going for 132 weeks now. Starting in March of 2020, I started going Live on Facebook Saturday mornings to create a card with anyone who would watch. Two plus years later, we're still going strong, and I continue to be challenged to find new layouts to use for our weekly cards.

Last week I posted these cutting instructions for our card on Saturday.

Using these cutting instructions, I created this fun matchbox card while live Saturday morning.

Following the cutting instructions, here are the papers I used for this card:

Pacific Point cardstock:

-4 1/4" x 11", scored at 1 1/2", 6 1/2", and 7"

-Scalloped oval using the Double Oval Punch

Basic White cardstock:

-4" x 4 3/4"

-Oval using the Double Oval Punch

Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper:

-4" x 3"

-1" x 4"

Although the top of the card has some dimension, it can flatten to be put in an envelope, if you'd like. You can see the list of supplies with links to my online store below.

Once you make one Matchbox card, it's hard to not make more. So I did. As you scroll through the others I've made, notice how we can utilize the matchbox to hold items such as gift cards, tea, and candy. :)

On this one I used the Santa Express Memories & More Card Pack in place of the Designer Series Paper. I used wink of Stella on the trees with the "Merry Christmas," along with some of the Sparkle & Shine Sequins Assortment from the Annual Catalog.

So what do you think? You ready to make some of these simply sweet little matchbox cards? You can do it!

Stamping blessings!

Amy
