KISS

Nope. I don't want a kiss. Covid, you know. Instead, I'm really trying to convince myself to - every once in awhile - Keep It Simple, Stupid. Sometimes, especially when it's time to swap 20 cards, I create a really in depth, lots-of-steps card. And trust me. One of those super detailed cards is great! But them when I go to make 20 of them...well, not so great anymore. So in certain situations, and when time is short, I really do need to tell myself to KISS!

Before we talk any more about KISSing, I need to backtrack just a bit. I absolutely adore the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper. The paper, along with the Berry Blessings stamp set, can be chosen as a free item with a $100 order for two more days of Sale-a-bration.

I've made some pretty fun cards with these products, for sure!

I kinda love slim-line cards. So fun to fill up more space on a card!

Shout out to my team member Amanda Petersen on this one:

None of these cards are super complicated, but a couple of them would surely take some time if making a slew of them. You know what else I love about the Berry Blessings stamp set and the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper? They coordinate with the Sweet Strawberry Bundle. In fact, the strawberry fun fold card above utilizes the amazing Strawberry Builder Punch with the Berry Delightful paper! Sadly, the bundle is currently unavailable (but it's coming back in a couple of weeks!). However, if you place your Sale-a-bration order to get the Berry Blessings Bundle for free now, you can plan Sweet Strawberry into your next purchase later!

Let's get back to KISSing. When I recently was thinking about making a super simple card, I had the Sweet Strawberry stamp set on my desk. Then I looked at the flowers and wondered if our Small Bloom Punch would fit around the larger of the two (notice, the smaller of the two can be cut out using the punch). So I tried it, and sure enough, it's the perfect fit! Then the wheels started turning...super simple card...Small Bloom Punch with the large flower...and this was born.

Just one 5 1/2" x 8 1/2 sheet of Basic White cardstock and a scrap for my popped up flower. Sweet Strawberry = sweetly simple. I love that the stamp set is photopolymer so that I could bend the "Thank You" to fit the exact shape I wanted to go around my flowers.

Watch the video below and see the list of supplies with blinks to my online store, too!

Stamping Blessings,

Amy
