Crossover Creativity with Tracy Filter + Amy's Card Sketch #101

Some friendships are just meant to be! Tracy Filter and I first met at a Stampin' Up!® Leadership event in Phoenix back in 2010, and we've been friends ever since. Even though we live miles apart, we always enjoy spending time together whenever we can. With so many years behind us, it's hard to remember ourselves this young. 😂

Recently, I was staying at Tracy's house while attending an event for my day job, and before long we were surrounded by cardstock, stamps, and Designer Series Paper. (Would you expect anything less?) We decided it would be fun to shake things up by having Tracy guest star on Stamp Together Saturday, Episode 323. We had such a great time creating together that we wanted to share more! So we sat down again and recorded another video featuring even more cards using this same layout for Make It with Me Monday on Tracy's channel.

The result? Nine different cards created from a single sketch! It's amazing how changing the papers, colors, stamps, and embellishments can completely transform the look of a card while using exactly the same basic layout. I hope you'll be inspired to look beyond the finished projects and see just how versatile a great sketch can be.

Which brings me to this...I'm also excited to introduce something new! This post features Amy's Card Sketch #101, the first in what I hope will become a growing collection of card sketches. My goal is to share easy-to-follow layouts that you can recreate with the supplies you already have. Whether you copy the design exactly or use it as a starting point for your own creativity, I hope these sketches become a helpful resource whenever you need a little inspiration.
