Blogging Takes a Back Seat

Nearly a year ago now is when I finally started blogging, after years and years of paying for a domain and yet avoiding like the plague actually doing anything with it. After having started blogging last May, my regular routine is to blog three times a week - typically on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, late at night (so Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Mondays for many of you). I've only missed a few dates and I've had a few late posts - sometimes because I have run out of time, other times because I just plum forgot.

This week has been different. This week missing a post was intentional. This week, my Airman son is home, family is in town for Easter, and I've taken a break to celebrate and enjoy the moments God has given me to spend time with those I love.

I am truly blessed to be a part of a God-fearing, close-knit family who likes to be together, enjoys even the quietest of moments simply because we are together, and is supportive of each other. Would they have supported me taking some time away to blog this past Friday? Absolutely. But in the end, I decided blogging and stamping wasn't going to be top priority. And that's ok.

With the new catalog now in my hands, plans being made to charge full speed ahead again starting the end of this week, a BIG Stampin' Up!® anniversary coming at the end of the month, and my birthday ON new catalog day (Happy birthday to me!), the excitement will come soon enough. Family gets the front seat.

Stamping blessings,

Amy
