A Fun Fold with Pretty Things

Last week I introduced you to some fun new products from our Online Exclusives. Because the Hello, Irresistible products are so pretty, I can't stop creating with them! Any time I sit down to create, I just want to grab the Designer Series Paper, smell it (I love smelling new paper!), and use it on the project I'm working on. My first blog post about this suite featured an amazing fun fold card.

I also created this card with my team for our Stamp 'n Share make 'n take on Saturday. I love virtual events with my team! There's so much great discussion and creating, even when we're far apart.

But this card I'm sharing today lived in my head before I even had the product in my hand. As soon as I placed the order, my braining started your the designing process. You know how sometimes the vision in your head doesn't always translate on paper? Well, this time it did. It really did. The translation from head to paper is just perfect, actually. And it's all because of the amazing new Hello, Irresistible Suite Collection. Sooooo pretty!

I'm just in love with using die cut flowers and leaves from the Designer Series Paper. It makes the coordination so incredibly easy. There are four pieces of the Designer Series Paper from which images can be cut with the Irresistible Blooms Dies, two of which are shown here:

I used some of those flowers to help create a gorgeous fun fold card.

The fun fold part of this card is incredibly simple. The Flirty Flamingo card base is cut at 4 1/4" x 11". Then I cut from the bottom front edge to the fold 1" from the right edge. Then I adhered that 1" strip down to the inside back of the card so only the left 3 1/4" opens. Cut the Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper 3" x 5 1/4" for the left side (the side that opens) and 3/4" x 5 1/4" for the sealed right edge.

Finishing the front with a couple of die cut flowers, Loose Frosted Dots from the suite, and some Glittered Organdy Ribbon makes it just right.

You can watch as I make this card here:

The Online Exclusive products cannot be found in any printed catalogs. Some items are available while supplies last while others will be back when initially sold out. You can see what's available by heading to my online store.

Happy stamping!
