Sneak Peek

Playing with new products is the absolute BEST! Having not seen many samples with new products from the August-December Mini Catalog yet, creating with those products are a good challenge for my creative brain. Turning a blank canvas into something pretty is so much fun...but sometimes that creative brain needs a jump start! Wednesday when I made my What's Up? Stampers! project on Facebook Live, I discussed using card maps for inspiration. Card maps are in grayscale but provide a layout idea for your card. When I sat down with the new Gilded Autumn Suite, I used this card map by Beth Adams to help give me some direction.

Once I had the card map, combining products was really pretty easy. I enjoy mixing suites and bundles, so although I was starting with the Gilded Autumn Suite of products, I also brought in the Embroidered Ribbon from the Plaid Tidings Suite and the Banners Pick a Punch from the Banner Year Bundle. Combine all this with a little Stampin' Blends trick, and I came up with a winner!

Did I mention this card also has a fun fold? This is going to WOW anyone who opens this amazing card!

As we anticipate the excitement of this new catalog, I want to invite you to my virtual August-December Mini Catalog Kick-off. I will hold this event starting Monday, July 20, in a special Facebook group. I will post once or twice a day until August 1, when we will really start to ramp things up. I will share live and pre-recorded demonstrations and product information, as well as learn about ways to take part in other virtual get togethers, classes, and get a discount on the awesome Stampin' Up! products I share with you. There will even be product giveaways! Come join the fun!
