For the Record...there are THREE tutorials in here!

I love this stamp set! It was on one of my first orders from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog, and I think it was because of how unique it is. I don't remember ever before having a stamp set focused around a record, and i love it! As a product of the ole record days, perhaps it means more. No matter how you look at it, this stamp set has some fun possibilities.

The first card I made with this stamp set is definitely the fanciest. :) You know how I love me some fun folds!

Because I love you, here is a free tutorial for this card. (ONE!) Whether you have the stamp set or not, use the tutorial to learn how to create this super fun fun fold!

Just recently I also made this card with the For the Record stamp set, and I love that it's a half front card.

I used the Stamparatus to make sure the stripes were placed just where I wanted them - halfway under the top flap. The circles dies are perfect for cutting out the record and its layer. Here are the cardstock dimensions for this one:

Calypso Coral cardstock:

-5 1/2" x 4 1/4"

-3" x 3", cut out the largest circle using the Layering Circles Dies

Thick Basic White cardstock:

-5 1/4" x 6 1/4", scored at 4"

Basic White cardstock:

-3" x 3", cut out the second largest circle using the Layering Circles Dies

-5" x 2"

Wanna see how this one was put together? Watch a video tutorial here (TWO!), then check out the bottom of this blog post for a list of supplies I used, along with links to my online store.

Here are a couple more simple cards using the For the Record stamp set. Both are simple and easy to put together, but both have a completely different look. In the first, the record steps out of the spotlight and fades into the background. I split the FOR THE RECORD stamp, masking "RECORD" while inking and stamping "FOR THE," then vice versa.

The second leaves the off the record completely and turns it into a great guy card. I love that the stamp set includes a "Happy Birthday" stamp. I think all of them sure could! I can always use a birthday card!

And because the title of this post promises you three tutorials, here is the third, absolutely free!

If you don't love the For the Record stamp set as much as I do at this point, all I can say is that I did my best. Perhaps the fun fold tutorials will be just what you need to jazz up your next card.

Happy stamping!
